Another Keiki favourite... needless to say I got pumped.
Pretty worth it I reckon.

Bodysurfing

One of my favourite bodysurfing shots i've ever taken...
The funny thing is this was our first bodybash out Keiki in Hawaii and it was perfect. We wrecked our bodies for 2 hours and then rode home to check out the shots... After about half an hour of checking them all out I accidentally deleted this shot! So spewing we jumped on the net to try and find out if or how we could retrieve it. 3hrs later we still hadn't got anywhere but knew we could get it back somehow. I didn't end up using this card again for the whole trip and 2 days after being home I saved her!
So Stoked!!!

Boost

Just a Hawaiian's average turn.

Eastcoast Magic

Last week produced some of the best NE swell that I've witnessed hit these shorelines... Offshore all day and pumping waves up to 6ft + I was one of many who were lucky enough to get wet for a few hours these days (14 hrs to be exact) Epic swell!

Tim

Clean, Crisp & Clear... Lets keep it that way!

In July 2011, Tim Silverwood will embark on a voyage sailing across the Pacific Ocean from Honolulu to Vancouver to undertake important research into plastics in the North Pacific Gyre (Great Pacific Garbage Patch [GPGP]).

What is the Great Pacific Garbage Patch? glad you asked...

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch has been compared to a 'floating island of trash', it is spread over an area twice the size of France in the North Pacific Ocean. Four oceanic currents converge here, causing floating plastic debris from Asia, North America and the South Pacific to accumulate in a swirling vortex that's rumoured to be doubling in size every ten years.

Tim will create a documentary on the experience which will contribute invaluably to raising global awareness of this issue.

How can i HELP?

My love for the ocean and all things aquatic has led me to many bodysurfing sessions. There is nothing better than sticking you head in tubes and gutsliding across the face of an open wave.
if you haven't tried it.... you sure will after watching this!

Growing Up

Sonny my not so little boy.... Killing it!

Instagr.am

Having alot of fun with Instagram lately...
it's always good to see whats happening around town and the world. Everyone's been getting right into it and expressing their inner LOVE for photography.

Flare

Keiki Shorey has to be one of the most fun beachies I have ever shot. This day delivered small tiny bowls of aqua goodness. One of my favourites from my trip and it was only shin high!

Sunsets & Barrels

Still sorting out all my photo's from Hawaii... Yep all 1500 of them. These are not necessarily the best ones but just a little insight of what's to come. 1st one is your classic Hawaiian sunset and the 2nd is a mini Keiki barrel on an overcast day... wait to you see the sunny ones!

Hawaii 11

The last 11 days of my life I've been lucky enough to have enjoyed the awesome waves and lifestyle of HAWAII. This place is too good... from skydiving to surfing all the infamous breaks... this place has so much to offer. As i look back it all seems like a RAD dream but as i sift through thousands of photos i know it was reality alright... Reality that I'm going to try and visit every year!
More photos to come

The Grommy's

These boys i met through a good friend of mine... Alex and Jake are without doubt the most frothing grommy's i have met to date. Wind, Hail, Rain or Shine they'll be the first ones out in the surf and the last ones to come in. They are currently filming a video on underground riders on the central coast so be sure to keep an eye out for it.... In the mean time check out their BLOG
